Bring your teams. Watch the match.
TacticMesh is an open-source football simulator by Wert Qas. Try the fictional starter teams, set lineups and formations, then watch a match or run a knockout cup. Explore the report and export the results locally.
Bring compatible team data, crests and portraits of your own. Create → Validate → Preview → Import: the in-game Create with AI helper provides a prompt and downloadable contract kit for your own assistant. TacticMesh makes no paid AI call and does not require a project account or YouTube subscription.
Made a pack? Publish its download on your own itch.io page and share the page link in the TacticMesh discussion board. Imports stay local; they do not automatically publish anything. Share only content you may redistribute.
This release is part of the Wert Qas 10-subscriber special. Thank you to the first ten subscribers and everyone following the builds. Follow Wert Qas on YouTube.
The MIT source can be a starting point for another simulator, a direct-control football game or a management project. Those are projects you could build, not extra modes included here.
Getting started
Launch the game, try the included matchup, or use Teams to check and preview a JSON/ZIP before importing. Choose a match or a 4-, 8- or 16-team cup. Export a full backup before clearing storage or closing an in-memory session. For offline play, download the offline edition, extract it if zipped, and open the HTML in a modern desktop browser.
Current release
RC1 is an early simulation sandbox. Football balance remains unresolved: its six-match screen recorded 30 goals/222 shots/562 minutes. Results are not reliable real-fixture predictions. Referee contact, formation-lab ball placement and the later sterile-possession diagnostic are absent in this selected engine. Physical phones/Safari and 10,000-full-match stability have not been tested. Local browser and layout checks do not certify the actual itch-hosted build.
Developed with AI-assisted coding. Starter teams and procedural assets are original fictional content; user packs retain their own provenance and licenses.
The match view has a contrasted ball and player appearance details. Theatre gives the pitch more room while keeping match controls; select a player to inspect their portrait and current match figures. Fullscreen uses the browser’s permission-controlled view, with Theatre available if it is denied or unsupported. These are presentation features, not changed football physics.
Launch cover and social-preview images are generated promotional compositions based on an actual screenshot and the existing logo. The separate gameplay screenshots show the unmodified runtime UI.
